Day 1 - Arrive Kilimanjaro/ Transfer Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by a Lion World Travel representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Arusha Coffee Lodge is located on the outskirts of Arusha, hidden amongst one of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantations. The theme of coffee is never far away at Arusha Coffee Lodge, where the coffee bean permeates even the interior designs. All chalets have a mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities, ceilings fans, safes and hairdryers.

Day 2 - Arusha/Tarangire National Park
After breakfast drive to Tarangire Treetops Lodge for lunch.
Late this afternoon you will have the option of going on a night game drive (approximately 2 hours – Additional Cost USD $95 per person). A night game drive offers the possibility of good viewings of wildlife such as leopards, hyenas, porcupines, genets, civets, and bush babies. In Tarangire you may even have the chance of seeing African wild cats, serval cats and African wild dogs on-top of the standard night drive fauna.

Day 3 - Tarangire National Park
Depart the lodge for a breakfast in the bush. After breakfast enter Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a game drive in the park to view the large concentrations of elephant and you may find leopard resting in the shady trees.
Drive back to your lodge in the late afternoon, with some time for relaxation before you have dinner.

Day 4 - Tarangire/Manyara/Karatu
After an early breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a short game drive, arriving at The Manor for a late lunch and relaxation.
This afternoon you will take a Coffee tour (about two hours). Coffee has been grown in Tanzania for centuries and is one of the country’s largest exports. Karatu is an ideal growing area because of the mineral-rich volcanic soil and the altitude of the northern highlands.

Day 5 - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It features the world's largest unbroken volcanic caldera that is a natural enclosure for a wide variety of wildlife.
Enjoy a private bush lunch in the crater.
Return to The Manor in the late afternoon with time for relaxation and dinner.

Day 6 - Karatu/Manyara Airstrip/Serengeti
After breakfast transfer to Manyara Airstrip for scheduled flight to Lobo.
Please Note: Luggage restrictions on the Tanzania light aircraft transfer flights is 15kg/33lbs in soft bags – including hand luggage.
On your arrival you will be picked up from Lobo Airstrip and transferred to the 5-star luxury TAASA Safari Lodge located in a private concession in the Serengeti National Park.
Meals are offered inside the main lodge, outside al-fresco on the terrace, or on your private veranda outside your tent upon request. Or you can enjoy a picnic in the bush.
In the late afternoon it is time to depart in the open-sided Toyota Land Cruiser with warm blankets and head out as the sun sets and into the dark of night under starlit skies. There will be a stop for a drink at sunset in the bush. The experience of a game drive at night is very different from one during the day and you may see striped hyena on the prowl or lions on hunt.
Return to the lodge with time to relax at the large outdoor patio perched on a hill above the tents and overlooking the valley. As you sit around a bonfire with fire pit and lounge chairs providing the perfect venue for aperitifs and hors d’oeuvres or simply for reading, relaxing and meeting other guests. After cocktails with the fire blazing and stars twinkling above you will enjoy a classic African dinner.

Day 7 - Serengeti National Park
Another day of early morning and late afternoon game drives. The world-famous Serengeti plains are a popular feeding grounds for herd animals, and you will see buffalo, elephant, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, eland, Thomsons gazelle, and the endangered rhino.
Optional: Balloon Safari
If you choose the balloon safari, you will have an early wakeup call and transfer to the launch site where you will experience the expanse of the Serengeti from above on a magical balloon safari.
Later in the day you can take a guided game/nature walk or just take the time to relax at the lodge.

Day 8 - Serengeti National Park
Another day to enjoy the Serengeti National Park. Later you will have time to relax at the pool or take a nap to make up for your early morning wake-up call.
Depart in the afternoon for game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. The bush comes alive at night and is a very different experience than during the day.
Return to the lodge for sundowners followed by a boma dinner.

Day 9 - Serengeti National Park/Arusha/Depart
After breakfast enjoy a morning en-route game drive along the Lobo valleys, to connect with your scheduled light aircraft flight to Arusha. Bid farewell to an amazing experience as you depart the Serengeti.
On arrival at Arusha Airport you will be met and transferred to Arusha town for lunch. Later you will be dropped off at Kilimanjaro International Airport. (B, L)
