Day 1 - Arrive Tanzania/Arusha
A Lion World Travel Representative will meet you on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer you to Four Points by Sheraton Arusha Hotel with stylish rooms, Wi-Fi, outdoor pool, Parachichi Restaurant, and the famous Hatari Bar.
Accommodation: Four Points by Sheraton Arusha Hotel – Queen Room
Day 2 - Arusha/Tarangire National Park
Depart on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park arriving in time for lunch at the 5 star Tarangire Treetops with its 20 luxury en-suite rooms, built on tree-attached platforms, overlooking the river.
Later this afternoon, you will have the option of going on a night game drive (Approximately 2 hours - Additional cost USD $95 per person). A night game drive offers the possibility of good viewings of wildlife that can be very rewarding.

Day 3 - Tarangire National Park
Depart for a breakfast in the bush and a game drive in Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch. On the drive you will see large concentrations of elephant and an abundance of game, and you may find a leopard resting in the shady trees.
Drive back to your lodge in the late afternoon with some time for relaxation before dinner. Optional night game drive (approximately 2 hours - additional cost USD 110 per person).

Day 4 - Tarangire/Karatu/Ngorongoro
Drive to the peaceful sanctuary of Gibbs Farm arriving in time for lunch. After lunch continue on your drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, hugging the contours of the jagged Crater rim, with its blend of luxury and ethnic style and offering stunning views. Each room has its own rock-enclosed balcony, with uninterrupted views of the volcanic amphitheatre far below.

Day 5 - Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, the '8th Wonder of the World', a remnant of an ancient volcano and a unique biosphere that has remained virtually unchanged since the dawn of time. Over 30,000 animals live within this natural bowl, the most densely packed concentration of wildlife in Africa.
Deep within the crater, enclosed by towering walls an abundance of large mammals wander the plains, lakes, and forests of 'the land that time forgot', dominated by enormous bull elephants, rhinos and lions.
Enjoy a private bush lunch in the crater.

Day 6 - Ngorongoro/Serengeti
Transfer to the Manyara Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Lobo Airstrip.
On arrival you will be picked up from the airstrip and transferred to the 5 star luxury TAASA Safari Lodge located in private concession in the Serengeti National Park.
Stay in luxurious en-suite tents, with a soaking tub and separate shower. Enjoy stunning views from the serenity of your private verandah or cool off in the infinity pool.
Depart in the late afternoon in the open-sided Toyota Land Cruiser with warm blankets and head out as the sun sets and into the dark of the night. You may see striped hyena on the prowl or lions on the hunt.
Return to the lodge with time to relax at the large outdoor patio perched on a hill above the tents and overlooking the valley.
Please Note: Luggage restrictions on the Tanzania light aircraft transfer flight is 15kg/33lbs in soft bags - including hand luggage.

Day 7 - Serengeti National Park
Another day of early morning and late afternoon game drives.
OPTIONAL: Balloon Safari - You have the option of booking an early morning hot air balloon flight to soar over the Serengeti at sunrise and view game from above. (Added charge).
Later in the day, you can take a guided game/nature walk or just take the time to relax at the lodge.
TAASA's private concession offers a unique opportunity to experience a walking safari which is not allowed in National Parks.
Return to the lodge for sundowners followed by a boma dinner.

Day 8 - Serengeti National Park
Leave for a morning walking safari with a Maasai guide. Walking in the bush, surrounded by all the sights, sounds and smells of Africa is a completely different and very personal experience. Learn about medicinal plants, how to start a fire with sticks and the wildlife you might encounter. Later return to the lodge for breakfast.
Depart in the afternoon for game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti plains are a popular feeding ground for herd animals, including buffalo, elephant, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, eland, Thomsons gazelle and the endangered rhino.

Day 9 - Serengeti/Depart
Transfer to the Lobo Airstrip for scheduled flight to Arusha. On arrival at Arusha Airport, you will be met and transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge for lunch. You will have the use of a dayroom at the lodge.
Later you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your scheduled flight. (B, L)
Return home with a lifetime of memories.
