PCR Testing – we can’t take the test for you, but we’ve got the where and how covered!

Most countries and airlines require proof of a negative Covid PCR test. As your safari experts, we know their requirements and will take care of scheduling tests during your travels in Zimbabwe, so that it’s conveniently planned into your itinerary and taking into consideration that results take between 24-72 hours. Tests cost between $100 and $330 per person, per test including transport to the testing facility. Your Africa Specialist will give you more information as it relates to your itinerary.

Day 1- Johannesburg

Upon arrival at Johannesburg’s Oliver Tambo International Airport, you will be met by a Lion World Travel representative and transferred to the 5-star Michelangelo Hotel for one night in Johannesburg.

Day 2 - Victoria Falls / Nehimba Lodge

After breakfast this morning, transfer to Johannesburg’s Oliver Tambo International Airport for your regional flight to Victoria Falls. When you arrive at Victoria Falls Airport, your exciting Zimbabwean safari experience will begin. You will be met for your road transfer to Nehimba Lodge, which will take approximately four hours. Nehimba Lodge is located in the north west of Hwange National Park, famed for its large elephant herds and variety of wildlife.

Nehimba Lodge combines elegant luxury and African charm to provide you with an exceptional safari experience. The main lodge and chalets all overlook a large natural pan and salt lick where elephant are seen in abundance. The seven thatched roof, spacious teak and canvas chalets are built on decks, all with en-suite bathrooms. Wi-Fi is available.

There is a tranquil waterhole in front of the lodge, so sit back, relax and enjoy as you watch the game come down to drink and the heat starts to subside for the day, as the sun dips below the horizon.

Dinner will be a three course delectable bush dinner that will be served out under the African sky near the lodge waterhole. After dinner, there will be a night drive on offer around the concession to spot nocturnal species that are just starting their day.

Cape Town is the most popular tourist destination in South Africa due to its good climate, culture and scenic beauty. The city has several well-known natural features that attract tourists, most notably Table Mountain, for panoramic views of the city and Cape Point the dramatic headland at the end of the Cape Peninsula. Many tourists also drive along Chapman's Peak Drive, a scenic mountainous drive with views of the Atlantic Ocean and nearby mountains. A visit to Boulders Beach to see the adorable penguin colony is a favorite amongst visitors. The Victoria & Alfred Waterfront is one of the city's most popular shopping venues, with several hundred shops and the Two Oceans Aquarium.
