Sunday – 1 December 2024 - Arrive Kilimanjaro – Transfer Arusha
On arrival at Arusha’s Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by a Lion World Travel representative and transferred to the Arusha Coffee Lodge.
Arusha Coffee Lodge is surrounded by evergreen coffee fields. The theme of coffee permeates throughout the lodge, reflecting in the colors and textures of the delightfully comfortable accommodations with beautifully appointed en-suite bathrooms.
During your stay you will have the opportunity to visit Shanga, an incredible souvenir shop that supports women and men with disabilities . “Shanga”, the Swahili for bead is a place where you can find necklaces made from fabric and beads. The creative force behind this initiative is Saskia, who reached out to the community to help her meet the demand for these necklaces. As the business grows it supports the many locals who produce these artisanal gifts using recycled and sustainable materials.

Monday – 2 December 2024 - Arusha/Serengeti National Park
Transfer to Arusha Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Seronera Airstrip. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Kimarishe Serengeti Lodge, arriving in time for lunch.
All the rooms at Kimarishe Serengeti Lodge have a balcony and great views over the Serengeti and have en-suite bathrooms including solar-heated indoor and outdoor showers. The rooms are furnished with large beds with mosquito netting, sofa chairs, wardrobe, dressing table, and a luggage rack. Also, an in-room safe, ceiling fan, Wi-Fi access, fridge, tea, and coffee making station, bathrobe, slippers, and hairdryer.

The lodge has a lounge, bar, and restaurant, with spectacular views. Other facilities include a laundry, an infinity swimming pool, gym, spa, and gift shop. This is an eco-friendly lodge using solar power and has a standby generator.

Today you can take an optional early morning balloon safari at an added cost of $475 per person.
Enjoy a full day of morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti. Venue for ‘The greatest wildlife show on Earth’, the park is renowned for its wildebeest, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and plains game. Golden-manned lions, leopards, hyenas, elephants, jackals, wild dogs, topi, and impala are just a few of the hundreds of different species in the massive park.

After breakfast, depart to Seronera Airstrip to connect with your domestic scheduled flight to Zanzibar. On arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be met and transferred to Neptune Pwani Beach Resort & Spa.
The Resort has been meticulously created, emulating traditional Zanzibar style, using the best in local design, interiors, and furnishing. All rooms have a terrace and ocean view. Facilities include a main restaurant, 4 à la carte restaurants, a snack restaurant, 2 bars, and a coconut beach bar, the Earth and Rain Spa, the Spherique Boutique, and a water sports center.

Explore Stone Town on a half day tour and spice tour in the world's oldest Swahili coastal trading city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Browse the curios and artworks in the bazaars and markets or just wander around the mosques and temples.
This will be followed by a Cultural Tour to visit the Darajani Bazaar, House of Wonders (Beit-el-Ajaib, People's Palace Museum, Old Slave Market/Anglican Cathedral and Freddie Mercury Museum.
Find the house where Freddy Mercury was born, and wander through the bazaars and car-free streets of Stone City on this guided tour.
