Day 1 - Arrive Cape Town
Start your dream honeymoon enjoying the food and drink of vibrant Cape Town! Arrive in the bustling and vibrant city of Cape Town to enjoy all the best that South Africa has to offer. You will be met by a Lion World Travel representative at the Cape Town Airport and transferred to the luxurious Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa.
The majestic Twelve Apostles Mountain Range serves as a backdrop to this magnificent boutique property, with the Atlantic Ocean stretching out in front, as far as the eye can see. Walk along the wilderness trails of the Table Mountain National Park, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, that surrounds the property.
The cosmopolitan city of Cape Town lies just fifteen minutes away by complimentary shuttle. It is the most popular tourist destination in South Africa due to its good climate, rich history, culture and scenic beauty, world class restaurants, nightlife and shopping.

Day 2 - Franschhoek Experience Tour
Enjoy our Franschhoek Experience Tour, exclusively for our Lion World Travel guests. The Franschhoek Experience Tour starts after breakfast, as you will be met by your guide for today’s tour to the exquisite Franschhoek Valley nestled between towering mountains in the beautiful Cape Winelands.
The first stop is in the quaint little town of Franschhoek. Take a short stroll down the main road in Franschhoek where you will find world-class shops and boutiques for a relaxed shopping experience. Whether you are looking jewelry, designer clothing, artworks, a special gift or chocolate you will find it there and much more.
The next stop is at La Bourgogne Farm, a working farm producing quality wines, export quality plums and pears, and some rather good olive oils. You will enjoy tasting Olive Oil, Olives and Fruit Preserves. Then it’s onto La Petite Dauphine, a historical working fruit and wine farm where you will enjoy a set menu lunch with wine pairing at Bistro Bon Bon overlooking the manicured gardens.
After lunch you will participate in an hour-long Wine Blending Experience at Rickety Bridge Winery. This interactive blending experience offers something to both wine novices and enthusiasts alike. The wine blending session will give you a chance to experience a crucial part of the wine making process, and you can leave with a bottle of wine to drink that day.
Later you will transfer to your hotel in Cape Town.

Day 3 - Cape Peninsula Tour
Enjoy a leisurely start to the day. Take a cable car ride up to the top of Table Mountain (weather dependent) to enjoy the magnificent view of the Cape.
The main feature of Table Mountain is the level plateau from one side to the other, edged by impressive cliffs. The plateau flanked by Devil's Peak and by Lion's Head, form a dramatic backdrop to Cape Town. Table Mountain is often covered by clouds to form the so-called "tablecloth" of cloud.
Not only is Table Mountain a scenic photograph background or a place from where you can take breathtaking photos of Cape Town, there are about 2,200 species of plants and 1,470 floral species found there. After marveling at the awesome views, you will depart on a Cape Peninsula Tour. On this tour you will see why the area earned the name of The Fairest Cape.
Sit back and relax, as you drive along the exquisite stretch of coastline known as Millionaire’s Paradise – from Clifton to Camps Bay, to the exclusive beach hamlet of Llandudno – towards the charming working harbour of Hout Bay. The tour then winds its way along the legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive, hugging the cliffs and relishing the breathtaking ocean views.
After a stop for lunch (your own account), visit the wild and beautiful Cape of Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park, an integral part of the world-renowned Cape Floral Kingdom. You will have the opportunity to ride the Flying Dutchman funicular (optional and own account) to the old lighthouse for awe-inspiring views!
Finally, the tour makes its way back along the coast towards the City, visiting the historic naval port of Simon’s Town and the endearing African penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Did you know that the African Penguin used to be called a “jackass” penguin because its call is similar to that of a braying donkey!
During your stay you will enjoy a complimentary three course dinner at the hotel’s Azure Restaurant. Savor the finest indigenous and international cuisine on offer in the extremely popular Azure Restaurant.

Day 4 - Cape TownYour final day in Cape Town! Enjoy a day of leisure exploring the many attractions in and around this cosmopolitan city, or simply relax on the fashionable beaches of Camps Bay or Clifton. Cape Town offers historic and cultural sites, world-class museums and bustling markets, inviting beaches and lush gardens, as well as great restaurants, wonderful shopping and culture.

Day 5 - Cape Town/Kapama Private Game Reserve
It is time to say goodbye to beautiful Cape Town as you are taken by private transfer to Cape Town International Airport. On arrival in Hoedspruit you will be met and transferred to Kapama Karula Lodge where you will spend 3-nights including all meals and two daily safari activities.
This afternoon head out on an open vehicle game drive in Kapama Private Game Reserve – sure to be a thrilling experience! Remember to take your camera!
The Kapama Game Reserve covers 12 000 hectares of undisturbed bushveld in prime Big Five – Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard - country. The reserve offers panoramic views of the nearby Drakensberg Mountain range and the area supports a wide variety of game including elephants, buffalo, rhinoceros, and a large population of giraffe, impala, blue wildebeest and kudu.
A small permanent water source lies just beyond the lodge perimeter fence attracting animals like antelopes, elephant and buffalo.

Day 6 - Kapama Private Game Reserve
Your day begins early, with a hot cup of coffee or tea. Outside, the sun is just beginning to peek over the horizon, showing off a landscape that is spectacular in its enormity and serenity. Game drives in open safari vehicles offer you the opportunity to see a large variety of wildlife.
Open safari vehicles set off in the early morning and again in the late afternoon in search of game sightings. Your experienced ranger and tracker team ensure that you have a ringside seat for any wildlife encounters in this big game reserve in the Greater Kruger Park. There is no way to know exactly what the safari experience will bring from day to day, but it will be memorable!
Mouth watering meals are served in the dining area which has open sides or under the stars, so you can appreciate the tranquillity of the camp's bush setting.

Day 7 - Kapama Private Game Reserve
Enjoy another bright and early start to the day as another day of wilderness experience begins. You are accompanied by highly skilled game rangers, who provide interesting information and anecdotes about the inhabitants of the bush. While seeing big game is always exhilarating, there are many other smaller species that are just as captivating.
Halfway through the game drive, there’s a stop for hot drinks and snacks, before returning to the lodge for a full breakfast. Relax and cool off in the pool, just perfect for those hot summer days or to refresh you after an exciting safari through the bush. Make sure your binoculars are on hand to watch the jewelled colored birds flying around or the animals in the nearby bush.
In the late afternoon everyone gathers for a decadent high tea, before heading out with your ranger and tracker for the afternoon game drive through the reserve. En route you will stop for a drink as the sun sets over the distant peaks of the Drakensberg mountains. Arrive back at the lodge with time to freshen up before enjoying a sumptuous dinner.

Day 8 - Hoedspruit/Johannesburg
After an early morning game drive to track the animals that may have eluded you so far, followed by breakfast, you will be transferred to Hoedspruit Airport. Arrive in Johannesburg where you will be met by a Lion World Travel representative and transferred to the 5-star Houghton Hotel.
The Houghton is made up of luxury suites, all very well-appointed. Nestled on a Jack Nicklaus–designed golf course, it is close to Johannesburg’s main shopping and dining areas. With views overlooking 168 acres of private parkland, it includes jogging paths and pools with lush, landscaped gardens, lending it a resort-type feeling. On-site dining options include a deli, a more formal restaurant, a bar, and a pool café.

Day 9 - Johannesburg/Victoria Falls

Day 10 - Victoria Falls
After breakfast enjoy a guided walking tour of Victoria Falls, one of seven natural wonders of the world.
Join your passionate and knowledgeable guide on an unforgettable tour. En route, make a stop at the Big Tree for spectacular views and to take photos. A visit to the iconic Victoria Falls is a truly awe-inspiring experience. Nothing can quite prepare one for the sheer splendour of the breathtaking spectacle which is one of Africa’s most famous landmarks.
There is not much that can compare to the heady fragrance of drenched earth and sun-kissed Rainforest foliage; the intense power of the wall of water – its deafening rumble coursing through your veins – or letting the cooling and constant spray of “the Smoke that Thunders” saturate the senses.
You have the option of a sunrise or sunset river cruise, which you can watch from the comfort of Victoria Falls River Lodge’s private river cruiser. In the early morning as the world awakes and the sun’s first rays skip and dance across the shimmering surface of the might Zambezi.
Or in the evening sit back and let the gentle ebb and flow of the Zambezi lull and relax you. Join in on Mother Nature’s Happiest Hour by sipping on a sun-downer while watching her creatures big and small coming to the water’s edge to lap at its liquid life under the molten skies.

Day 11 - Victoria Falls/Johannesburg/Depart
After breakfast you will be transferred by road to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight back to Johannesburg. (B)
